2009
The 34 partners of Amstein + Walthert found a holding company, Amstein + Walthert Holding AG and transfer their shares to the new company. From then on the holding owns all financial participations in the Amstein+Walthert Group.
Amstein + Walthert gathered together all of the areas which the market segments engineering in infrastructure construction, equipping tunnels, traffic telematics, railway engineering and risk management have previously worked under the new company Amstein + Walthert Progress AG.
2008
From 1 July 2008 Amstein+Walthert AG integrated in the engineering office Landert+Partner GmbH operating in the field of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems and sanitary facilities engineering with registered offices in Basel into A+W.
2007
Integration of the company Schär AG – energy projects to do with buildings technical installations - into Amstein + Walthert St. Gallen AG. The office in Frauenfeld became a branch of Amstein + Walthert AG in Zürich.
2006
Christian Appert took over the function of Managing Director of the company in Zürich.
1997
The shareholders of the company were extended and the area manager responsible for the company result and the Managing Director of the company in A+W Group became partners in Amstein + Walthert AG. A branch was opened in Chur.
1990
The company was newly structured after R. Amstein retired from the management due to age. Dr. R. Walthert took over leadership of the company. The range of services offered is strongly expanded (tunnel building, building services engineering, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems and sanitary facilities engineering), and the strengths in the field of electrical engineering are fortified.
1985
The engineering company is renamed with the name Amstein + Walthert AG. A geographical expansion took place with subsidiaries in Geneva, Bern and Aarau as well as extension of the facilities in Lausanne and St. Gallen.
1975
Restructuring to become a public limited company.
1947
E. Brauchli became the owner of the company and the office is now called H.W. Schuler & E. Brauchli.
1927
H.W. Schuler and S.L. Schild open an engineering office for electrical equipment in Zürich.
